Born in 1972, Lorenzo Damiani is graduated at Politecnico of Milan. He collaborated with several companies such as Cappellini, Campeggi, Erreti, Ceramica Flaminia, Montina, Illy Caffè, IB Rubinetterie, Diamantini & Domeniconi, BBB Emme Bonacina, Lavazza. In 2009, Triennale Design Museum dedicated to him the personal exhibit “Ma Dove Sono Finiti gli Inventori? Lorenzo Damiani” curated by Marco Romanelli.
Achille Castiglioni Foundation dedicated to him the personal exhibit “Lorenzo Damiani: Senza Stile”, curated by Giovanna Castiglioni. Damiani designed and developed several set-up such as “Tratto Minimo”, dedicated to Castiglioni brothers in the occasion of the sixth edition of Triennale Design Museum. Some of his own works are included in the permanent collections of Chicago Athenaeum, Vitra Museum and Triennale Design Museum. At the base of his designs there isn’t the deside to surprise, but a research focused on sustenibility and economy of the shape.
